The founder of the school combined all the advantages of a traditional boarding school and preparatory college. Here, children are happy and learn with great interest. And parents are completely calm for the safety of their child: the school is far from big cities, and, therefore, far from busy highways, bars, night discos and other temptations.

Only high school students’ study at Hurtwood House and this creates a unique atmosphere of serious adult life in the school.

The school has a bias: applied and visual arts, as well as journalism. However, the school is strong in the natural sciences, and all subjects in general are studied at a high level. In the final exams, in 2014, 63% of students received A / A * ratings ("excellent" and higher than "excellent")

The results for textiles are phenomenal. The school invites professionals from the field of art and media of the highest class, and this explains the high cost of training. "They get out of here and can run a BBC studio," says the director.
